ford focus

The Ford Focus is a compact car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company since 1998. Ford began sales of the Focus to Europe in July 1998 and in North America during 1999 for the 2000 model year.

In Europe, South America, North America and South Africa, the Focus replaced the various Ford Escorts sold in those markets. In Asia and Australasia, it replaced the Ford Laser.
The UK model range – mk 1 The UK Focus comes in 4 basic body shapes: the 3 & 5 door hatchback, 4-door saloon & 5-door estate. There are 4 different models / series available and each has it's own specific trim level, options, available body shapes and engine sizes.

The CL is available with a 1.4i 16V engine in either 3 or 5 door hatch, a 1.6i 16V engine as an estate or a 1.8 TDdi engine as a 5 door hatch or estate.
Its trim level is the most basic of the 4 models as far as luxury & gadgets, however it still boasts central locking, front electric windows, drivers seat manual height adjustment, adjustable steering column, interior power tailgate release, front twin airbags & an engine immobiliser (PATS). The LX is the next step up from the CL and is available in a wider range of engines and body style combinations:
